Better city SLC, Ut or Denver, Co?
I live in Ohio now and I want to take a year off when I graduate college and do a lot of skiing/ snowboarding, and rock climbing. I want to know which city is better to live in for these things, and in general. Also I do like to go out to bars and such for fun, so ya how is the night life comparative?
Now that SLC has revoked it’s antiquated liquor laws and now that you can go to a bar and get a drink without having to buy a membership and all that BS I would say that SLC would be the way to go. The skiing/boarding is better, all around, and the rock climbing is awesome, especially at some of the southern parks. You may also want to consider Boulder – it’s much better than Denver as far as the night life and is really a neat smaller college town. Just something to think about.
Whatever you decide I hope you have fun!! What a great idea to take the year off. I did the same thing – we went to Lake Tahoe and I worked on the Ski Patrol at Squaw for a year. It was, without a doubt, one of the (if not the) best year of my life!!
