When a good place in the United States for beginners, climbing ice climbing?
I was going to attempt an ascent of Mount McKinley school, but I was told I was out of my league to download something so loud. Does anyone know a good place to go preferably who teaches or directs you to the mountain. I mean the ice throughout the rule with crampons and ice ax. I thought somewhere near the Washington area, California Oregon, Colorado. Basically, the Rocky Mountains.
