how do you climb the rope in gym?
during the last marking period of school, i have to climb the rope in gym but i just don’t know how to do it. can you help me how to?
A thick heavy rope right?
You can use your feet and legs to your advantage here, as the rope won’t bend out so much away from your legs as it would if it were light. Whilst hanging from the rope, bend your legs and turn them out sideways so that you can grip the rope between your feet. Then extend your legs to gain height and move your hands up. Then bend your legs again and grip the rope with your feet.
Other method could be gripping the rope between your thighs, this is less dynamic though.
Or just go through with upper body strength, but that’s the hardest.

Touching the Void $13.26 To describe Touching the Void as a mountaineering documentary would be to do this breathtaking drama an injustice. By intercutting narration from the climbers themselves with a nail-biting reconstruction of their remarkable adventure in the Peruvian Andes, the film has the best of both genres: the authentic stamp of factual storytelling and the edge-of-the-seat tension of a dramatic movie. In 19… |
