How many nuts / hexes need?

I found a deal nut for 7 to $ 50. Is this a good deal or not? And how will would I need if I want to start climbing trad rack? What is on the protection passive or active?

It is a good agreement, if they are new. If used, I would wait and get a new set. I should be cheaper if someone sells used. With regard to the amount you need to gain a trad rack began … hard to say. Most people start with a complete set of 10 to 13 caps. Depending on where you go, you learn what pieces you might want to double or triple. You can then extend their life there. Hexes are nice to have, but I do not consider a must if you're starting. Whether people come with pro-active or passive, the response of 95% of trad climbers will be both. Both have their advantages and disadvantages and it is good to have an important framework to be able to choose for each promotion. Only gradually build your building and learn to correctly position each type.
