Dwarf hamsters and crittertrail cages?
I think that’s what they’re called anyway.
The cages with all the tubes that you can add to.
I’m still having trouble deciding between dwarf’s and syrians..
But i like the look of the critter-trail cages.. but i wouldn’t want to put a syrian in there.. i’ve always kept syrians in big 3 story cages with plenty of space.
But as dwarf’s are more lively, i figured a critter-trail with all those tunnels and tubes would be quite fun.
But.. i’ve read that they can struggle with vertical tubes and have trouble climbing up/down.
Is this true?
I don’t want to get the cage and a dwarf hamster [or two, not entirely decided] and then find out that it can’t get to half of the levels and attachments i might add to it.
So yeah.. anyone with a dwarf hamster use these cages? Do they get along with them ok?
I have a Chinese Dwarf and he does fine climbing tubes. He never had a hard time about climbing the tubes. So I have a few tubes in my cause he likes to play in them.
